Problems with Internet unlocked ip4

Hi, bought an american iPhone 4 on AT&T, I jb and unlocked with ultrasn0w. Phone takes the o2 sim, seems to work as it should bar the mobile Internet! Any advice folks? Have googled a bit but no luck, is this 'normal' or is it a fault with the actual phone?

Have you updated the carrier settings for the phone. When I got my O2 SIM the carrier settings were on the SIM and it immediately updated the settings. An alternative option is to plug the phone into Itunes and it will tell you "need to check carrier settings" say yes and it should update them for you.

Would be surprised if that did not solve your problem.

You said your phone is operating normally except for data. That means ultrasn0w has already unlocked your phone and hence baseband and firmware is no longer relevant.

There are only two reasons I can think off that phone calls work but data would not work. Carrier settings and lack of a data plan.

Carrier settings bang up to date and an o2 iPhone data plan to boot.....really fumbling me. Any one have any other ideas? Have of course took phone right back and started from scratch. Otherwise I run back to apple with my tail between my legs.
