    Default Urgent Help Needed

Before I begin I want to let you know II've fully searched the web and cannot find an answer.

I recently bought an unlocked iphone 4 online, it came perfectly...it was clearly unlocked and everything was fine. But then I let it die, and when I tried to turn it on and charge it, it was stuck on apple logo. It is still stuck on apple logo.

How do I fix this without restoring my iphone, because if I restore it, it won't be unlocked anymore because it will be 4.2. I tried restoring it with 4.01 and 4.02, but itunes does not support those anymore it looks like. So how do I fix this? If I go to my local tmobile store or something u think one of those guys can help at all?

    Thanks in advance

Did you try soft resting it holding down home and power before trying to restore the phone?

Ok umm, how do I plug it into this tinyumbrella thing? Can I download it onto my computer? I'm not sure that it's in dfu mode, or maybe it is..I just see an apple on the screen. If I need to put it in dfu I will though.

But yea, where can I get tinyumbrealla, I cannot access my phone right now.

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to solve this

I see the enter recovery button, but I can't click it. Is this suppose to recognize my iphone as well?

Umm that option became unavailable and the apple popped again, and still seems to be stuck there. This was in normal recovery mode though. It's not recognizing it when I try and put it in dfu, although itunes is

It looks a lot like you might have a tethered jailbreak on 4.2.1
What you need to do to recover is to download redsn0w and select the boot tethered mode on redsn0w while your phone is plugged in.

You will have to do this everytime you reboot your phone or you let the power run down.

If the person that sold the phone knew what he was doing you could have a tethered jb at 4.2.1 with an unlock 1.59 baseband.

If you chose boot tethered it shud not be loading an Ipsw. Did you pick the right option.

If after trying to tether boot with redsn0w or exit recovery from Timy umbrella doesn't work. You have to find out your ECID , you must be etiher in DFU mode or recovery mode and then follow this guide :
iClarified - iPhone - How to Find Your iPhone ECID [Windows]
Once you have your ECID, input into Tiny Umbrella and click save shsh.
If you only have 4.2.1 shsh blob, you will have no choice but forced to go to 4.2.1 which also locks up your iphone.

If you have 4.1 blob, then you are saved. You start tss server, run itunes and shift + restore to stock 4.1, your Baseband will be preserved this way. 4.1 shsh blob is your only hope.
