    Hey bro,
Im not sure if my message last night went through, but anyways, I am in the exact same situation as yours. Im just wondering how you were able to get the iphone replaced at the apple store? what did you tell them? what did they ask you?

    thanks dude

first thing you have to do is restore it to factory settings. in other words wipe it clean of cydia and everything. i borrowed my friens mini at&t sim and stuck it in my phone and set the appt. and went in and said my phone wont turn on. so then they tried to restore it and it still wouldnt come on so they replaced it. just as easy as that. if your phone turns on dont forget to restore it.

my phone broke because of slight water damage but thank goodness it didnt trigger the water spots on the phone. ofcourse the apple rep checked the water markings

    good luck

My source was just a tweet by Sherif Hasim a week or two ago answering someone's question if the unlock would be ready by mid jaunuary. He said yes at the time, but that should be taken with a grain of salt, since he doesnt actually work on the unlock, just the crashes. That's why I said it was a guess
