iphone 3GS Hacktivation?
Decvice = iphone 3GS 32GB
Firmware = Updated to 4.2.1
Phone State = (itunes logo screen)
Phone Orgin = (UK London)
I am trying to use this phone here in the USA with ATT but even with a activated sim with iphone service it says I have inserted a incorrect sim thats not supported by my carrier. Are there any tools I can use to hacktivate this phone because the person that sold it to me told me it was factory unlocked. I just need to get passed the whole itunes activation process.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I dont really want to upgrade to that baseband seeing that I would have to use custom firms from that day on. Can I use the redsnow without updateing the BB. And what version are you talking about because I used the version that does the ipad bb update and I just got the ring of death once the process completed.
any ideasHONDA PARTS SPECIALIST!!!

If it is a UK phone you may want to contact the carrier and see if they can officially unlock it for you.

Not too sure, but it wont hurt to try. If he can get a official unlock that would be way better than having to update his baseband.
