cannot call using 3gs 4.1 with 6.15

I have a 3GS 4.1 jailbroken with limerain and unlocked it using redsnow after updating the baseband to 6.15. I am able to receive calls without any issues , but I am unable to make any calls.

I was able to fix it at one point by setting the time to be automatically set and was successfully making calls, but toggling that does not help in any way and I suddenly seem to have lost the ability to make calls. I have SAM enabled and carrier fix installed as well.
Please let me know where I am going wrong.

Try turning data off to see if that helps.

No luck whether its on or not. It was already off and the last time I was able to call, it was on. Is there any way I can find out if SAM or carrier reset is indeed setup properly?

SAM should tell you if you are activated right. Not sure what the issue may be but I have seen a few people have this problem.

Now it has suddenly started working after a couple of reboots.
