Default Unlocked / Jailbroken iPhone 3g with ios 4.1 and BB 06.15 can not receive calls

    Hello everyone,

A couple of days ago, with the help from a couple of people on this forum, I unlocked and upgraded my iPhone 3g with ios 4.1 (from 3.1.2)and BB 06.15 and now I cannot receive calls. Is anybody else having this problem or issue; if so please help.

Check your carrier setting, if it doesn't show your carrier, then you have to add this repo : Cydia.pushfix.info and install carrier fix. Leave your unofficial sim in there for it to activate.

I'm also in the same boat and did what you said and it still is doing it. Every once and a while it pops up saying "cannot connect to carrier" so is there any other VPN settings that need to be entered?

I've added the repo and installed the Carrier fix, with my T-Mobile sim card in. When you mentioned "waiting for it to activate", do you mean just letting it reboot and the iPhone detecting the carrier information or something else?

    Vegan-

Do you have any information displayed when you navigate to "Usage" from Settings->General->Usage?

Everything is finally working: incoming calls, outgoing calls, pics, texts and the internet!!!!

    I used the following setting:
    Cellular Data APN: epc.tmobile.com

    Internet Tethering
    APN: epc.tmobile.com

    MMS
    APN: epc.tmobile.com
    MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080
    MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
    MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf

If anyone else is having trouble you have to install the following in addition to the settings above:
T-Mobile iOS4 MMS Fix from Cydia to get MMS
Carrier Fix from Cydia to enable incoming and outgoing calls

I'm still having an issue receiving incoming calls. When I call my phone the phone doesn't acknowledge a call at all.
