Restore bocked by Apple? Itunes?

hey guys, i would like to restore my 3gs but apple wont allow me! is there any other way to do this? the fone is locked and needs to be jailbroken as well! thanks!

So how is it blocking you? Are you getting an error number?

on itunes - they said Invalid sim - please insert valid sim to activate

its supposed to be 4.2.1 im not to certain if i had updated it.... is there any method to check it? i tried jailbreaking with redsnow but its stock on the pineapple icon...

If you are stuck on logo you may need to restore again. Go into restore or dfu mode then you can restore.

there is no way to restore! apple blocked all restoring! when u plug in the iphone it doesnt give u the features ne more....unless it has been activated already.

Thats why I said put it in restore or dfu mode...

i tried the dfu n restore, it had a 1005 error on itunes i think... besides that i tried to jailbreak using redsnow... and after the jailbreak is done, the fone restarts an i see the connect to itunes pics.... what do i do now?

It sounds like you already updated the baseband then. You need a custom 4.2.1 with baseband in it to restore to.

cant download ne more, i think its limited to free useres, i cancelled it since i saw the amt of hrs n cant restart it now... [email protected] if it canbe sent via email.... thanks
