Iphone 4 4.2.1 unlock

hello there i have at&t iphone 4 4.1 baseband 2.10.04 that ive been waiting forever for an unlock. i read on iclarified.com a guide on how to unlock iphone 4 4.2.1 baseband 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00, or 01.59

Am i able to unlock my iphone 4 if i update to 4.2 firmware ? i mean could that be possible ?

Those guides are just for iPhone 3G/3GS. iPhone 4 can only be unlocked if you have the 1.59 baseband.

I have seen the link before. It is a little confusing because they have put the iPhone 4 in there but that only applies to the 1.59.00 baseband. You can not update a i4 baseband to the 6.15 one like the 3G and 3GS.

Now my itune shows a possible update to 4.2 version

Now if I update my device , can anyone give me a working link to unlock my Iphone then.

Don't update. If you update and your baseband is updated you will be locked. There is no unlock for the baseband that comes with 4.2.1.
