Hi, I've picked up a broken iphone 3g and fixed it. It had bootload 5.09 and baseband 5.14.02 so i had to wait for dev team to come out with a new release for UltraSn0w. Once it came out i jailbroke and unlocked the iphone 3g successfully and used it for a while. I picked up as much info on working on iphones as i could while i was waiting for the new release to come out so i download multiple apps and whatnot. Then I found out about the "Other" folder in the iphone memory. The iphone i have is 8gb so it isnt that big, and my other file took up 2.6gb. I know that jailbroken apps that cannot be recognized would be sent there because itunes cant recognize it and other files as well, but I had none that were and found out that its because i had some failed syncs. So my other file was just built up crap. I had alot of trouble restoring it but successfully did so in the end and jailbroke/unlocked it. Everything was clean and the iphone ran perfect like it did before i tried to restore it. but when i put my t-mobile sim card the iphone would go into a laggy state. In detail the iphone has that 5-20 second lag time with anything i try to do with my T-mobile simcard in. And its stuck at "Searching.." and will not recognize anymore. But when i take my simcard out its as fast as it should be. On my computer i get a different error message then the 1015 on when you try to restore. After i hold shift+restore and choose my 4.1 ipsw it extracts normally and right when that finishes and it tries to verify with apple i get an error that says "The iPhone "iPhone" cannot be restored at this time because the iPhone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.

Unable to restore on my computer i used a different one and tried to. When i did so everything came out normal by restoring it with the 4.1 ipsw i had and using recboot/tiny umbrella to exit recovery mode. then rejailbreaking it with redsnow 9.6b.1, and the jailbreak goes smooth but no matter what after unlocking with ultrasn01 1.2 i go into that laggy state when i put my simcard in. i've also redone the process and had no internet so i used diskaid to install manually from my computer, with unltrasnow in .deb files, but results end up being the same. juss thinking of anything i tried to install ultra snow with an at&t sim card but to my surprise the results were the same and its unreadable. the carrier on the iphone says not available. any help is greatly appreciated because im running out of ideas.
