1.1.1 -> 1.1.4 - will this work

First, here is my info for the phone running 1.1.1 now:

firmware: DEV_ICE_MODEM_04.01.13_G
eep version: EEP_VERSION:207
eep revision: EEP_REVISION:8
bootloader: BOOTLOADER_VERSION:3.9_M3S2

What I am planning to do is RESTORE to 1.1.4 via the ipsw, then run Ziphone 2.6.

I believe this should work, any confirmation????

keep up with the times dude... ziphone 2.6 came out a few days ago which adds iTouch support. Ziphone 2.5 or 2.6 will work all the same on the iPhone. As far as your steps they are correct. Be sure to set up the phone as NEW in iTunes and then resync all your stuff back,.

Why you want an IPSF way? I suggest you to RESTORE firmware version to 1.1.4 and then click DO IT ALL in Ziphone..

yes,it will jailbreak, activate, and unlock. installer will be there

Just wanted to let you guys know. This worked perfectly. Restored to 1.1.4 via ipsw, then used ZiPhone 2.6 and it worked completely. Took a few minutes to do the restore and about 3 mins to do the unlock etc... PERFECT!
