Default iPhone 3GS old or new bootrom?

I just picked up a 16 gig 3gs. I'm a bit confused though. It is an MB model with 25 as the forth and fifth digits in the serial number so shouldnt that be the old bootrom? but I hooked it up to windows in dfu mode, checked the device manager and its says 359.3.2 which is the new boot rom. How does this make sense?

You also need to look at the 3rd digit. If it is 9, it is 2009. If it is 0, it is 2010 which explains why your week 25 is a new bootrom.
