Default Iphone stuck on Apple logo screen

    Hi all,

I am a bit new to unlocking the iphone, but used RedSn0w to jailbreak and update the firmware on a 3G iphone.

So the baseband was updated to the new ipad baseband and the IOS was 4.2.1.

I ended up doing a full reset on it, and it never was able to load back up. I put it in recovery mode and hooked it to Itunes, and it failed to restore it. It came back with an error.

So, how do I get the phone to come back up??

It might be worth your while reading the DEV Team blog about the implications of updating to the Ipad baseband. The reason you are having a problem is that the update to the ipad baseband will prevent you from ever doing a normal restore through itunes.
You must restore with a custom firmware only. You can either create one with pwnage tool and restore it with pwnage tool or if you do not have a MAC then you can get a Custom firmware from someone else with a mac and restore it with redsn0w DFU mode.

Thanks. Could you send me that custom firmware please?

    I would appreciate it.
