I have an iphone with firmware modem 05.14.02. And is jail broke it but is no unlock, i want to use it on tmobile and they are telling me that i can not do it until i unlock the phone . Do you guys have any info of when any firmware is going to be available or how to unlock the phone? I want to go to tmoble its only 69dlrs now im paying 130 please help

There us a way to update your phone modem firmware (BB) to the iPad version (6.15.x) which is unlockable, however several problems exist. If you can wait, a better solution is likely.

In the meantime, run Tiny Umbrella and save you SHSH blobs. You'll need these later.

hmmm u have a option to unlock ur fone ...
Use RedSn0w to update to Ipad modem firmware version Then simply install ultrasn0w from cydia Turn ur 3g mode Off from settings n ur all ok to use ur Iphone on T-mobile carrier !
Note ;- if u update ur baseband u will get an unlock but u cant restore to official iphone firmwares then.until 6.15.00 baseband Downgrade come....
iam using ipad baseband on my iphone 3g n its working all fine :P

5.14 is not unlockable, but it can be updated to the iPad 6.15 which IS unlockable.
