3GS old bootrom

I have a 3GS old bootrom I updated and jailbroke 4.2.1 with pwnage tool but the baseband did not update to iPad baseband. I have a windows xp computer and the current version on redsn0w but when I try to update baseband it gets stuck on "waiting for reboot" nothing else happens.

Should I restore to stock 4.2.1 and Do the whole process with redsn0w and inlcuse base band for iPad and try that again?

I am looking to use this 3GS with tmobile USA

How did u your pwnagetools?
Was update baseband to iPad selected? Did you select the iPad firmware in pwnage tools?

I used pwnage tool unlock edition, I did select the iPad baseband but it only jailbroken

If it's getting stuck check the affinity and make sure your only running 1 CPU

Yeah jailbroke it with pwnage on my buddies Mac and I'm trying to update baseband with redsnow on windows is that a prob?

Should I restore to stock 4.2.1 and then use redsnow for the whole process?

Ok ran redsn0w on a different Pc clicked the Sam option and baseband update ran the program. And got it the baseband up and going.

I was on 4.2.1 but after the baseband was flashed the phone says it's 4.1 6.15 baseband.
