3GS unlock - Stuck in Recovery Loop

Hi All, i'm new to ModMyi and what a great forum!!

Basically im trying to unlock a iPhone 3GS (orange) and when I upgraded to ipad baseband, the iPhone when rebooted up went into a "recovery mode loop". I have tried everything, irecovery, ireb, tinyumbrella, etc but the iphone stays in recovery mode. I have tried to shift+restore to 4.1 firmware, but i guess this is not a custom firmware (which i need)

Is anyone able to help me (guide and appropriate custom firmware) pretty please!!

Download idetector and find out what bootrom 3GS you have first.
