    Default NO SERVICE on 4.2.1...Please help!

    I did restore with custom IPSW 4.2.1 and ultrasn0w 0.96b6 and I am a little bit lost! I. Any one experience that? The network bars are there for a minute and they are gone for couple of minutes. they aren't constant

    i have a iphone 3gs 4.2.1 baseband 06.15.00, old bootrom

    Are you turning 3G off in settings?

    3G and cellular data off .... I reset the network settings but noting happened

    The unlock may be a little buggy right now, I have seen a couple people with this issue.

    so you think that there no solution roght now for my phone?
    the network is not constant and its draining the batery for couple hours

    You may want to try this if you hacktivated: iClarified - iPhone - How to Hactivation Your iPhone Using Subscriber Artificial Module (SAM)

    It should help your battery, not sure of signal though.

    I would redo the entire process again - then, take your SIM card, clean it well, and re-insert it firmly.
