    Default iOS 4.1 Unlock Problems???

I have an iPhone 3G running iOS 4.1 that is currently jailbroken but I need to unlock. I was very happy to hear about the new unlock, however I've been looking around and reading different posts and saw that some people have been experiencing problems after they unlocked their iPhone. I'm just wondering if anyone out there would advise me against unlocking or might have valuable input on the topic. Also I'm curious if there might be another unlock coming out soon (for 4.2?) Any and all comments would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Make sure you know the facts before you do it if you are. If you do decide to go for it make sure you have a official sim to activate the phone as hacktivation can lead to some serious battery issues and be aware that there is a known gps issue with this new baseband.

Thanks. That's what I'm trying to do. I'm going to wait and see what else I find. I mean I waited this long already lol...so I guess another day or two couldn't hurt. I just need an active SIM right...I can use my T-Mobile SIM??? I heard about the GPS problem too...which is a little upsetting. Do you know anything about a jailbreak and unlock coming out for 4.2?

Okay. So I just need an active AT&T SIM to unlock it, then I can use my T-Mobile SIM right...

It doesnt even have to be active ATT sim, even an inactive one will work.
