How to activate after the unlock

I recently did the iPad BB update and having major battery drainage issues. My phone was hacktivated and sherif hashim suggests re activated with actual sim card . Does anybody know how to do this considering that I can't restore in iTunes anymore? Any help would be much appreciated.

Add this repo : cydia.pushfix.info and install carrier reset fix.
Reboot and put your sim to reactivate it.

@iYeow i have the original sim card with me..then how i have to activate after the unlock.?? i dont have network coverage for AT&T in my country..
