I just got a traded out refurbished iPhone 3G from Apple the other day and it came with iOS 4.1 with bb 5.14 or what ever it was. So I had to do the iPad base band upgrade to get it unlocked.
I was wondering if anyone has attempted to go back to 3.1.3 with this new iPad base band yet??
I want to get back to 3.1.3 for speed and reliability reasons, but am reluctant to try it in fear of something going wrong!!
Just for anybody interested, 4.x does offer a few new features that you may like. For instance camera zoom, folders, etc. You can maintain performance and keep those features by staying on 4.x (except wallpaper and multitasking, that's what really drags older devices) by disabling multitasking and wallpaper either through jb tools that allow those options or Cydia tweaks (such as myOS). my iPT 2G was horrible on 4.1, but after disabling those two features, it ran like it was on 3.1.3 except I got to keep my folders I like those folders lol.
Expect I am a Windows user, I can't seem to find anything online on how to downgrade back to iOS 3.1.3 without using iTunes which I figure is a bad idea since I am on baseband 06.15.00.
