Stuck in activation screen

Hey Everyone.
Here it goes..
I bought an iPhone 3gs, after some problems restored it, and activated it (bypassed activation screen) with limera1n perfectly.

A friend asked me to unlock his iPhone 3G, I did a lot of mistakes (used spirit jailbreaker and it was stuck on logo) , and had to restore it (loosing all of his songs) I restored it on the 4.0.1 version and it has a baseband of 05.13.04. Now I'm stuck at "NO sim Card" screen, and it asks me to insert a valid sim card. Only emergency calls can be done. I live in South America so I have no acces to another sim like a phonebook or AT&T. I tried using limera1n and it gets stuck at release power button. I did it several times! I am desparate! PLEASE HELP! I need to get by the activation screen WITHOUT any other sim card! please!

No problem, this is what you do :
Download Redsn0w 0.9.6b2 and the stock 4.1 ipsw.
Run redsn0w and browse to stock 4.1 ipsw.
Check only the box : DFU mode only.
Perform this action until it says DFU done.
Now shift + restore to this custom firmware that I am going to give you in your Private Message box.
Unlock with Ultrsn0w.
Make sure you have itunes 10.

Edit : This copy is an activated 3g 4.1 with wallpaper, multitask and battery percentage enabled.
Once restored , you are already jailbroken at IOS 4.1

Is the 4.1 unlockable? Can't I just keep it on the 4.0.1
just in case? Where can I get the stock 4.1 ipsw? I have the 4.0.1 ipsw file.. tried it with Red sn0w 0.9.6b4 and said it wasn't the right file...

If it's a 3G you should be good, the dev team just released the new unlock its a little in depth but it does work. Just read all the warnings.

where can I find a guide... a reliable one? I really don't wanna mess this iphone for good. My friend is already asking for it! I just want to bypass activation screen.. is there an easy way? Like limera1n, but it doesn't work for this one...

I just took it to an official apple store (ironically,they unlock it here in South America) but htey charged me almost 100 dollars for it... I've learned my lesson to never mess up with other people's iphones. Thanks iYeow
