I have an iPhone 3GS jailbroken on version 4.1. My baseband is 5.14.02, and according to this guide I can either:
1. Wait until new unlocks come
2. Have to re-jailbreak it again and load the iPad baseband onto it?
#2 is what is kind of confusing me. I bought this phone already jailbroken and I am afraid of re-jailbreaking and being unsuccessful.
Do you guys suggest I just wait for the new unlocks? I dont mind waiting.

I stopped at Apple store yesterday. They're selling Iphone 4 with 4.26.09 and 1.05.00. There is no mention of this version of firmware and baseband in here. Does it mean there is no use to even ask if it is unlockable yet?

X98CAR, you're very good at this, buddy, if you can tell by those numbers which provider it belongs to. If it is Verizon's phone, do they give you another unit, with different firmware and broadband if you'll decide to go with AT&T or the same unit can be configured for AT&T? I am sking this trying to figure out if they can connect to 2 different providers why is it so difficult to connect to third, T-Mobile? I am new at this and find it facinating, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

The verizon iPhone is a CDMA phone so will only work on Verizon's network. You would need a regular iPhone to work on ATT network. The ATT version is the one that will work on T-mobile's network, but only if it is unlocked. Currently there is no unlock for new iPhone 4's though.
