Unlock iphone 3g ios4???

hey my Iphone current version is 3.1.3 is there a way to upgrade it to 4.0 or higher without locking it or anything that will unlock Iphone 3g ios4?? (Btw: i mean the "emergency calls only" screen )

Restore to custom firmware of 4.1 created by snowbreeze 2.1`
You will need the official 3g 4.1 ipsw when you build your snowbreeze firmware. Use Expert mode, check the activate part if you need hactivation. If you run into errors, you can run ireb 4.1 RC2 first to bypass the error by putting you into DFU mode and then shift + restore to Snowbreeze_4.1.ipsw

Make sure you have itunes 10.1

Unlock again with Ultrasn0w from Cydia.

so i use the 3g 4.1 ipsw with itune right? Just to make sure

No you will restore to a custom 4.1 made with sn0wbreeze, otherwise you will lose the ability to unlock. Here is a step by step if you need it: HOW TO: Jailbreak iOS 4.1 with Sn0wbreeze 2.1
