iphone 3G 05.13.04-6.4_M3S2 not activated - how to unlock need HELP

Hi everyone

I have an iPhone 3g 05.13.04-6.4_M3S2 not activated and don't have sim from original carrier.
Pleas what and how I have to do to make it working - unlock and activate.

You should first download tiny umbrella or f0recast and find out what firmware you are on. It sounds like you may be on 4.0 with that baseband but better to check first just in case.

I'm on 4.1 05.13.04-6.4_M3S2 custom firmware

So you are jailbroken already then. Just install ultrasn0w to unlock from cydia.

Can I do it even my phone is non activated?
And may be just me , but I cant find any link where to download ultrasn0w

So you are at the emergency screen then? If so you would need an original carrier sim to activate it. If you dont have one, you will have to make another custom firmware that is pre-activated and restore to that. Ultrasn0w is in cydia, there is no link for it.

Yes I'm at emergency screen and don't have official carrier sim. The fw that I have installed I downloaded from internet and don't know how to make it one. Do you have some guide?

Use ireb n snowbreeze to create a hactivated 4.1 firmware and install that then goto cydia and install ultrasn0w. Activated and unlocked.

This guide ask to download fw " 4.1.0 (3G): iPhone1,2_4.1_8B117_Restore.ipsw"
Is this original apple, because I don't want to upgrade my baseband.

Yes, you need the original file in order to make a custom one. Just dont restore to this one, restore to the custom one you will make with pwnage tool.

Did you use pwnage tool to put it in dfu mode before you tried the restore?

because I failed the first time and thought that can do it even without pwnage for next attempt, but I was wrong, again!

The funny thing is that maybe in few hours will be released so much awaited 4.2 and shortly the unlock too hehe

If u use redsn0w select the stock firmware then on the next screen select ONLY enter pwned dfu wait for it too finish then ur iPhone. Will be in pwned dfu
Now u can select custom firmware and apple should allow
