can i unlock my 3gs 3.1.3 05.12.01 again

Hi,
I've iphone 3gs(US) unlocked by some person(INDIA). Due some infiniboard app iphone went into reboot loop, itunes(in Windows 7) shows error invalid response from iphone. I've tried iRecovery also, screen shows black with apple dim logo. i was able to goto connect to itunes screen. previous jailbroken firmware was on 3.1.3, i don't have original carrier simcard to re-unlock by restoring. i've SHSH for 3.1.3 saved in cydia.
myself how can i restore,jailbreak and unlock 3.1.3 or 4.0 without carrier SIM. plz reply solution steps.

Since you don't have the official sim , you will need to restore to a hactivated custom firmware.

which is the latest hactivated firmware for 3GS, can u give me a link for download. only restoring this will jailbreak and unlock my iphone

You can create a custom fw from Pwnage tools 4.1.2 or get one from the net.
Run redsn0w 0.9.6b2 to put u into dfu mode and then shift + restore to cfw of 4.1

You need to update your iTunes first, iTunes 9.0 will not work.

You need custom fw of 4.1, not 4.0 created by Pwnage tools 4.1.2

Use redsn0w to help you to put your iphone into dfu mode

i've downloaded Custom_iPhone2,1_4.1_8B117(old_bootrom+UltraSn0w)_ Restore.ipsw, itunes updated to 10. i tried to restore it's giving 1604 unknown error(windows 7). phone is stuck at connect to itunes and activate.

i have a 3gs too and it's locked
i made the mistake to update to ios 4.1 and bb 5.14.02 so for me there's no unlock until week-end
i use it as a big fat iPod touch by jailbreaking with limera1n. it hacktivated it
i don't know if it will work on an ios version lower than 4.0 but you can give it a try

close itunes and run limera1n as is...it will hactivate it and tou will be able to install it...i did it
