    Default unlock question?

I was confused for a while, but did some research and now I'm up to speed. I've an iphone 3g and suffer from the 4.1/5.14.02 unlock issue. I used redsn0w & custom firmware 4.1 to jailbreak and now I'm just waiting.

My question is, whenever the unlock does come out, where do we go from there? Do we just hop into cydia and install Ultrasn0w.

Yep! Add repo666.ultrasn0w.com to your repo list and then install the new version of ultrasn0w.

Did you try fuzzyband in cydia to see you were able to downgrade your baseband? Unlikely, but worth a quick try.

What if the repo666.ultrasn0w.com is already on my repo list, do I need to type it in again?

No. Just search for ultrasnow and install it.

Gotcha thanks. I've been using my tired old Motorola phone with the blue screen for the last month as my backup. Can't wait till the release.

Also ... stay away from 4.2 unless you use a custom fw or the new ultrasn0w supports it. Be very cautious
