    Default Unlock question

So from my understanding the new unlock for the 3G should be out within a few days. Basically my question is, I'm planning on unlocking my iPhone and then giving it to my girlfriend. The phone is synced to my computer, so I'm afraid that if she plugs it into hers, it will force her to restore it to 4.2 if she wants to add songs or w.e to it because it isn't her home library. Any suggestions??

It wont force her to restore. It will just say the iphone is synced to another account, so syncing to hers will just erase any music or photos that are on it.

Btw the unlock will probably be for 4.2 also since that is what the dev team are waiting for to release it.

All you have to make sure is she doesn't click "ok" when it prompts you to upgrade
