Impossible to unlock ??
Currently, I have an iPhone 3gs on 4.1 jailbroken. Now someone told me it was strictly impossible to unlock it until the 4.1 unlock comes out... is that true ??? If not, can you please tell me exactly what I need to do to unlock it ??

that is correct, if you are on official 4.1 then there is no unlock at this time for that baseband, there is supposed to be an unlock released after apple releases 4.2, so for now you are stuck waiting

Your situation highlights the main reason people should NEVER upgrade phones with a stock Apple firmware ipsw. Always use a custom built ipsw using PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze. Custom built ipsw's NEVER update the baseband (modem firmware) thereby preserving any-carrier-SIM unlocks.

it will be a short wait hopefully, just follow Mes' advice and use custom firmwares to update or make 100% sure that there is an unlock for the current baseband before an official update

Dont worry man, I'll surely make sure there's an unlock next time but I got this phone 2 days ago so I couldn't really know it wasnt unlockable..
