New baseband for iOS 4.2

Have Apple manged to find the baseband exploit for 4.1 versions before the next ultrasn0w is released, or are they trying to trick the dev team to release it before 4.2 so they can patch it? Or none of the above?

i would say none of the above, apple will never fool them into releasing anything early

I would say none of the above too. Apple have probably made some other change to the baseband unrelated to what Sherif Hashim has got in store. Hopefully his unlock will work on both versions. We'll see.
Either way - as usual don't update your iphone to 4.2 when it comes out until we know the full repercussions!
