Active My Iphone 4

I use to have an 3gs that i got from att but i sold it but i still have the original sind card and is not active any more i use it only to active my 3gs from any restored. now i have an iphone 4 that i got from ebay can i cut my old 3gs sind card so micro and active my iphone 4 ?

yes all u do is cut it, it doesn't matter If it doesn't have service, any AT&T sim card will work (except gophone cards)

No they don't. Gophone SIM cards are locked to the phone they came with, they can't be used in any other phone, which includes the iPhone. You probably misunderstood me, I said gophone SIM cards, not gophone plans. If u have a regular AT&T sim card with gophone service, it will work. But if u have a gophone SIM card (says gophone on it) it will not work.

i don't have a gophone SIM card i have the regular SIM card from AT&T so.

Thats good that i can use my old 3GS SIM card to actived my iphone 4. Thanks for all the reply!
