iPhone 3GS new bootrom 4.0.1 to 4.1 Baseband preserve? Possible?
After reading around a bit on these forums, I'm a bit abashed about the iPhone 3GS new bootrom. I'm running on 4.0.1 jailbroken with Jailbreakme.com and unlocked with ultrasn0w. Baseband version is 05.13.04.
I've looked at sn0wbreeze and pwnagetool but there doesn't seem to be a way to upgrade to 4.1 without baseband update.
Jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 3GS New Bootrom with Sn0wbreeze 2.0.1 [Custom Firmware Windows] | Redmond Pie
That says only from 3.1.2, I don't have SHSH for that firmware anymore. What's the solution at this point?

before you use snowbreeze you should download jbme2pwn this will allow your phone to use custom firmware... however, this task might be difficult because the repo that stores the file is offline.

Sn0wbreeze or Pwnagetool both preserve the baseband.
You can't use them because you have the new boot. You shouldn't install jbme2pwn cuz you could brick your phone cuz it's new boot.
There is no way you can get to 4.1 and preserve your baseband at this time.
