No modem firmware, need help unlocking
My friend has an iPhone 4 he is trying to unlock. It is on 4.1, but it has no modem firmware. Any advise on how to get modem firmware on there? I would prefer not having the newest firmware because i wouldn't be able to unlock. When the pwnage tool comes out, could I just make a custom firmware?

im confused as to how a modem firmware cannot exist on a phone.
download f0recast. and post the information it gives you.DROID does... iPhone does it harder, better, faster, stronger

lol wow its either broken or bootleg! =/ you could try to save ur shsh blobs in tiny umbrella for 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, and 4.1 and then shift restore a stock 4.0.2 ipsw
