i need a help to unlock my iphone 3gs

Version: 3.0.1
Medem Firmware: 04.26.0

i have tried to JB with blackra1n but failed...
is ther anyway bypass to latest firmware like: 4.0.1?

please help!!! i just switched over to T-mobile and need to use this phone asap!!! thank you!!!

Redsn0w (v0.8 I think) to jailbreak. Once you've done it, you will be able to use custom firmware to go to whichever version firmware you like. Using custom doesn't update your baseband, so you will keep 04.26.08 and unlock it with Ultrasnow.

Double check your bootrom version, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be old bootrom (which is needed for custom firmware).
