    Default iPhone 4 Activation

I recently purchased a iPhone 4. The IMEI is clear and has no history of theft. However When plugged it into iTunes i get a message saying "the iPhone connected cannot be activated" and on the iPhone all it says is connect to iTunes. i even purchased the activation sim and even put in a micro att sim to at least get passed the connect to iTunes and still nothing. Might it be possibly bricked? what is the problem here?

When i ran the ih8sn0w forcast heres the info i get:
    Baseband: 02.10.04
    Bootloader: IC
    Mode: MC13

I have even tried to put the phone in dfu and restore. still no luck passed that message. ATT Store itunes cant bypass it, nor Apple store iTunes.

Does it ask for some kind of social security number or something like that when you plug it in?

The new jailbreak, when released, should be able to bypass activation.

Nope doesn't ask for phone number or social. I really don't understand it lol. I do know it was purchased june 21st and it does not show any signs of being activated so I'm not sure how that works out.

That is very strange if not even a universal/phonebook sim will activate it. Is it definitely a US iPhone?
