When will the unlock for firmware 05.14.02 out?

When will the unlock for firmware 05.14.02 out? My iphone 3GS is 4.0.1 and the firmware is 05.14.02. I jailbreak it already but i cannot unlock it. when is the unlock will be available?

I have 4.1 and just jailbroke now and have cydia, but the unlock (Ultrasn0w) doesn't work, keeps saying searching. I also have 05.14.02 .

Hope unlock is soon.

i have the same problem. i upgraded mine to 4.1 then downgraded it to 4.0.1.
now im stuck with 5.14.02 and it keeps saying searching.

Everything that the DEVs have said about unlock so far is that the new baseband for IP 3GS and IP4 does not have an unlock and you should not upgrade. There is nothing that says they have any exploit for the baseband.

All the information on the Jailbreak suggest that they will provide a path to upgrade to 4.1 for both of these devices while preserving the old baseband to support an uplock. Only my humble opinion, but believe those who already upgraded to 4.1 are out of luck for an unlock for a very long time if ever.

Then what about those buying new devices? Surely someone should be working on an unlock, if only for that reason?

I've had to tell 3 people already to INSIST on trying out their new device in-store before purchasing to make sure it's on 4.0.2 and not 4.1. But I get the feeling that's not going to work for much longer, given that 4.0.2 is being phased out.

Its only natural that the Dev team doesn't have an unlock yet, they were focusing on their latest jailbreak. Now that limera1n is out & their own jailbreak is being stored on a shelf for future use, they can now start examining the unlock.

My guess is by the latest, Christmas but probably sooner. If you don't like the sound of that answer, well tough bananas. These folks have regular 9-5 jobs & do this stuff with their free time. Just don't make the same mistakes next time & read up on new updates beforehand.

I've been waiting long enough, might as well keep waiting. Wanted to get a new housing thing for it anyways so I guess I can do that now that I'm not using it.

Anyways, I understand that they're working on other stuff and they have jobs, just laughing at my own misery as I bought the phone without checking the baseband like a retard. No harm meant to the Dev Team. Heaven knows they probably do a hell of a lot more in a day than I do.

I also hope they come out with the unlock for the 5.14 firmware. I have two phones that I bought off Craigslist and would be very upset if one never comes out. I hope those guys have some time for us that dont want AT&T.

Wow, yeah with all the new stuff coming out and the iPhone 4, I hope they are able to take the time to create an unlock for 5.14 firmware or have an updated Fuzzyband downgrader. Those guys who come up with this stuff are just pure geniuses. Will continue waiting.

You can use Pwnage Tool 4.1.2 and can be downloaded from Dev Team website.
