3GS to 4.0 which unlock ?

Hi all
I have a iphones 3GS that i have rained and snowed runing o 3.1.2 with 05.11.07 basebad and i am just about to upgrade it to os 4.0 using Sn0wbreeze as i have a shiny new iphone 4 and want to update to sell the 3GS on.

So question one is will sn0wbreeze keep my baseband at 05.11.07 ? i think it will but just after clarification

And question two after i have jailbroken to OS4 what is the best unlock to get from Cydia? Blacksn0w or ultrasn0w as i had wifi issues at the beginning with blacksn0w (are these sorted out with os4 ?)

Not sure I can help a leeds fan....

Use the new snowbreeze 2.0.1 from ih8sn0w.com, to upgrade to 4.1

It will keep your baseband where it is. I would use Ultrasnow to unlock it.

It is a new bootrom phone right? (untethered jailbreak with blackrain)

will snowbreeze keep the baseband at 05.11.07 and will i have to do it in expert mode or just let it run in simple ?

Not sure what bootroom i have as when i got it there was all talk of tethered but i was lucky as i Blackra1ned it and Blacksn0wed it and it was untethered just had the wifi issue. it is model MC131B

and one last thing will the new snowbreeze Hactivate the phone as i work abroad and dont have a 02 card.

Yes, it won't change your baseband. You can do it in simple mode, just make sure you have hactivation added. You don't need to do anything extra than the custom restore and install ultrasnow.

I've got a place in Leeds, but live overseas.

An untethered blackrain phone is old bootrom so you're good to go.
