No sim. What do I need to activate? Hacktivate? 3GS/4.0.1 non-JB

here we go.

I was on 3GS 3.1.2 and I update to 4.0.1 clean version.
Its like updating legit-ly.
I forgot that the iPhone is not an iPhone so I was like I'll just use jailbreakme to JB and then unlock.
It updated and it went to the lockscreen, where it say I need to insert the AT&T sim to activate and thats when I say F*** my life.
I don't have an AT&T Sim card to activate my phone.

I've been sitting here for like 5 hours trying to find a way to downgrade and activate the phone....

can anyone please give me a solution?
Its not even my iphone 3GS it's my bestfriend's 3GS, I feel sp bad that Im staying up all night trying to fix it for her, even though 2moro is my first day of Senior Year =\

I cant even restore to a lower firmware...

Sorry don't think there is any other way except borrow someones AT&T sim card for like a minute pop it in while connected to iTunes and bam you're done. You can downgrade if you had saved ur blobs from earlier firmwares.
