About Software Update 1.1.1

I installed some hacks on my iPhone. I followed the iPhone OSX hacking guide(unlocked, installed installer, installed other apps)

What will happen if I just install the 1.1.1 software update or do I need to restore first? Do the reports that hacked phones might not work have any credit in relation to this hacking method?

Also if they are true and I will mess up my iPhone when I update, is there any way to manually restore the firmware back to version 1.0.

the update un-activates the phone if you do an update there is no way to activate the phone except through itunes and att

if you update to 1.1.1 you can't unlock or mod your phone in any way... and yes, you can revert to 1.0.2; instructions here:
