Confused...wifi won't work

I jailbroke my iPhone 3g 4.0.2 last night and went to try and unlock it but no networks are coming up on wifi. Anyone have any idea why? It's not the signal so Im just really confused. Is it possible that my wifi antenna in the iPhone doesn't work or something?

You like starting new threads huh Yes it is possible that the wifi antenna is not working. Try restoring and jailbreaking again, but do not load a backup, set the phone up as new first and see if the wifi is working. If it isn't it is more than likely a hardware issue

That being said you can still unlock without wifi. You will need a mac and pwnage tool to do it though. The thread to do this is here:Add Ultrasn0w Unlock to PwnageTool

Before i jailbrok. It the wifi wasn't working, but to restore it completely without a backup I just plug it in and click restore in iTunes right?

Didn't quite understand. Did you say wifi wasn't working before either? And yes you can just click restore in iTunes just make sure it says 4.0.2.

Yeah it wasn't working before I did anything to it but I thought that was normal

Nope not normal. Sounds like a hardware issue. You will probably have to follow that guide I linked to before if you want to get it unlocked without wifi.

mine use to work but after i unlocked it now it wont but wifi icon still appears but when i connect to safari is say no intrenet connection
