    Default iphone 3GS 4.0.1 not verified by apple

    I had to restore to 4.0.2 to reactivate the phone. I then downgraded to the 4.0.11 version and jailbroke via jailbreakme.com successfully. I am now attempting to unlock the phone through the custom FW that I created with pwnage 4 tool and everytime I attempt to restore it extracts the files then i get stuck with the verifying device with apple screen for a minute or so and then an error message that states the device could not be verified. What gives?

    Not sure why you are trying to unlock it with a custom ipsw? Just use ultrasn0w....
