    Default iPhone 3G Not Unlockable?

According to F0recast my iPhone 3G cannot be unlocked....? Why is this. The bootloader maybe, or is F0recast just out dated since the more recent ultrasn0w versions came out?

yeah you can unlock, the bootloader doesn't matter for unlocking, its the baseband

I didn't think it did but I knew the baseband was unlockable so I couldn't figure out why it's saying no to unlockable.

    Because F0recast gives wrong information.
He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.
