here's the deal. i have my old 3gs that was deactivated when i got my iphone 4. now my neighbor wants it. he has an at&t sim that he pays for, and it fits in it. i am at 4.0.1 jailbroke with jailbreakm*.com (comex), and installed ultrasn0w to unlock. i get "no service".
any ideas?
edit 1: have shsh's on file for 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1
edit 2: restored to 4.0 so i can jailbreak with redsn0w .95-5. tried on windows and mac, and redsn0w doesn't recognize firmware.
edit 3: i just restored, and had my neighbor call at&t and they activated my old 3gs for him
