Iphone 4 unlocked

Hi,

I have an iPhone 4, os4.01, originally o2.

I have jb and unlocked this (thanks to comex / ultrasn0w) however I am having a few issues MMS does not work, and intermitten data problems - the signal seems to drop suddenly as well (dont think its related to the apple problem) I have also had an invalid sim and few times?

Now I have restored the phone several times with the exact same outcome so not exactly sure where to start looking as I have searched and cant find any others in similar situation.

The phone works fine as o2, even after unlocked.

What I have noticed is if I goto the about screen, the network is listed as Orange but the carrier is listed as O2 7.1? also in the network screen tethering is not listed? if these have any relevance.

I have tried with a carrier update (manual) but it seem to make it worse!

Any help appreciated.
