Hacktivate iPhone 3gs old bootrom 4.0.1

Hi, I restored my iPhone to 4.0.1 and now I get emergency call screen, I dont have an At&t sim card or original sim card, is there any way I can activate it? thanks for any help.

If you've got SHSHs on file for 4.0.1, you should be able to restore to a custom ipsw with pwnage tool since you're on the old bootrom - which gives you the option to hacktivate when you build the custom ipsw. Let me know if you need further instruction.

Yes. Option-restore and point it to the custom ipsw. You'll need the 4.0 ipsw for 3GS, you can find it here:

Run pwnage, select your device. Put the 4.0 ipsw in the same directory as your pwnage tool app. It should populate, select the ipsw and customize the build. Make sure you click to hacktivate, and not update the baseband.
