    Default Activation - Borrowed Sim

    So a friend of mine asked me to borrow my SIM card for my iphone 4 to activate their iphone 4. The thing is this person found the phone erased everything, threw out the sim and now needs to unlock it to use it.

    I'm hesitant to let them borrow my sim. Is their anyway it can be traced to my account? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

    It is not illegal to find or activate a phone that has been found. Let them borrow the sim to activate it. We could get into the whole moral issue about returning the phone, but that is not going to happen.
