Sim Cutting Issue

I unlocked my ip4 and now i cut my tmo sim and the gold strip is bigger than the att miro-sim and it touches the metal. Does that mean the phone gets no service?

File away the side so that it just barely clears the metal even if that makes the sim a bit loose.

I cutted my Tmob sim card right along the edge of the gold square contacts on both sides and bottom and it worked fine for me. I also have a sim card like yours that has a big gold square contact in the middle.

cut a little off the right side of the gold it will work I that's how I did mine
