iPhone 4 Visual Voicemail

I have AT&T and the iPhone 4 with 4.0 software. After I jailbroke and unlocked my visual voicemail stopped working. Is there a way to fix this?

Ok I figured it out. I tried resetting network settings a few times and that was a no-go. FInally tried taking my SIM card out for 10 seconds, then re-inserting it...and that fixed it. Thank goodness, because I really want to keep my phone unlocked.

If you are on ATT why do you need to be unlocked? There is no need to be unlocked unless you plan on going somewhere where ATT isn't and using a different sim there.

Being unlocked helps give you the Carrier Network Selection menu if you are on fringes of the network.

I had the same problem after the Jailbreakme jailbreak. Removing and reinserting the sim worked like a charm.
