Activation needed for iPhone 4 Unlock?

Hello everyone,

I bought a non-contract iPhone 4 from the Apple Store (USA). Upon syncing it with my computer, it went straight past the unlock screen and now functions as an iPod Touch with a camera.

I ran the JailBreakMe 2.0 jailbreak and the ultrasn0w unlock, but I haven't "officially" activated my phone with AT&T. If I cut a T-Mobile USA sim card, would it be successfully recognized by the phone or am I not fully activated? I don't want to cut my sim card only to find out that I missed a step along the way.

if you downloaded ultrasn0w then the Tmobile microSIM should work

So by the fact that I reached ultrasn0w and got past the emergency call screen, that's all the activation that was needed?

Yep, u should be good to go... As long as your past the emergency call screen, pop the TMO sim in and you should have service. Remember to turn off 3G.
