How to enable MMS changer on IP4 (unlocked and jailbroken)
I need to change the MMS settings for my dad and his Carrier Data Page does not allow him him to do so. It just shows the Enable/Disable switches.
I was already able to change his Internet APN settings by downloading a profile from unlockit.co.nz but no luck on MMS.
Apparently, MMS needs to work before Facetime can be activated.
Any thoughts ?
Basically, I am looking on how to enable this screen (stolen from other sites) -->

I'm having the exact same problem, seems the OP beat me to the post.
I have an AT&T unlocked iPhone 4 (4.0) and am trying to change it use it on the o2 UK network.
When connected to iTunes it constantly propmts to 'update carrier settings' but they still stay at AT&T 7.0.
If anyone knows how to get to the picture the OP was originally showing would love to know!!

Patching the commcenter and adding the following to the carrier bundle your using:
Should enable APN editing.HTML Code:<key>ASCIIFileNameRequired</key> <true/> <key>AllowEDGEEditing</key> <true/> <key>AllowMMSCEditing</key> <true/> <key>AllowMMSEditing</key> <true/>

is there any other easier way to do it ? Don't think my dad will be able to follow (he's not a techy guy). He's in Asia right now so I cannot do it for him..
Any 1-click options in cydia or mobile config webistes?

where do you input that HTML code?
this worked for me on my jailbroken/unlocked iphone 4
1. Open cydia and install winterboard
2. add source: http://cydia.*************
3. Search Supreme Preferences 3.0 and install
4. Open winterboard
5. check it off the supreme preference tab and respring
6. Then go to settings
7. click supreme preferences tab and go to applications, than go to phone.
8. Cellular data tab: On
9. Click home, than settings
10. General, network, and it should be their.Last edited by grant1x; 08-04-2010 at 11:36 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

yes that method does work.
except i think it's the reason that when i go to Settings>Phone, my FaceTime ON/OFF switch completely disappeared!
I have no idea why but it was after I installed supreme preferences 3.0 and winterboard.
even after uninstalling both and removing the added source, it still does not show up.
any ideas?
