Just what I was wondering... I have ordered my Iphone 4 from ebay and i'm waiting for it today... it has been locked to AT&T so how am I going to bypass the activation screen...

- legit sim (AT&T)
(or)
- phonebook sim (dits / yousim)

What do you mean by FIRST backup. What is the correct order: Activate(Hacktivate), Jailbreak and then backup shsh blobs or some other order ?

except i have one problem.

i popped in my Tmobile microSIM and everything worked fine...except for the FaceTime.

I went to settings>phone and turned FaceTime on, it said "waiting for activation" for about 10 minutes then finally said "activation unsuccessful".

i did a hard reboot and tried again, still unsuccessful.

please help!

apple may stop signing 4.0.1 at any movement
devs are testing 4.1 beta 3 (released y-day)

use Download The Firmware Umbrella from here and click on backup !

Thanks also I'm running 4.0 on 3gs. Should I update to 4.1? I tried to update ultrasn0w thru cydia but I'm getting error. "" got it I was useing .com instead of .org""

Same here...bro. What about your mms. Mine don't work and one more thing on I have to turn off my data to check my voicemail with the voicemail button.

well i never got the cellular data network tab to show up under network. im actually doing that now, i just never really needed MMS.
but my FaceTime won't activate and I'm wondering why

Help! Updated (previously jailbreaked and unlocked) working 3GS accidentally from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3, now stuck on Emergency Call and iTunes doesn't like the sim which had been OK. Please could somebody tell me what to do?

mine show up cellular Data,and MMS,EDGE,voicemail...work perfect
but no facetime,waiting for activation....
i wish someone can fix it soon
