Is it possible to upgrade from 3.1.3 JB & Unlocked to 4.0.1 JB & Unlock on iphone 3G
i have a iphone 3g jaibrake with spirit and unlocked running on 3.1.3 (7E18) model MB490DN
my question is, i want to upgrade my phone with 4.0.1 version....after that is it possible that i can jailbrake and unlock my phone safely...and how to do it....

Apparently so. It should be just like the 3GS
3GS new bootrom 3.1.3-> 4.0

Once you are at 4.0.1, you can use jailbreakme.com which is the easiest or Redsn0w 0.9.5b5 to jailbreak. Unlock with Ultrasn0w 0..9.3 from Cydia.
